Carmel Cares is partnering with the Carmel Police Department to assist in raising funds to start a K9 program in Carmel-by-the-Sea. As part of our mission to keep Carmel beautiful, safe, and inviting, we are excited to be part of this project.
We need to raise a total of $25,000. We have already received matching grant donations totaling $12,500 from Carmel residents. We need to find another $12,500 from other supporters to unlock those funds. We know you love this town and thanks to generous people like you, we know that 125 residents and visitors will contribute a minimum of $100 each to help us reach our goal.
The most financially efficient way to make a tax-deductible donation is to mail us a check, but you can also make a donation online using PayPal, a Credit Card, or Venmo (@CarmelCares). Carmel Cares does not sell or distribute any private information provided by donors.
To send us a check or pay offline with a credit card simply download, print, and fill out a donation form and send your donation along with the form to the address below. If you can’t print it, just make sure you include the same information with your check so we get your contact information for the tax receipt. Having your email address will lower our communication costs.

You will have three ways to make an online donation, PayPal, PayPal Credit, and your personal credit card. If you have a PayPal account this is the most efficient method. To pay with your personal credit card you do NOT have to have a PayPal account. Just select Guest when you get to that part of the form. We need an email so we can send you a tax receipt.
